Hello everybody, It's has been an interesting week searching through the dusty archives and I've uncovered some great pictures to share with you all in the coming weeks. But turning to this week, we started off with a look back at Preston's Fishergate Shopping Centre in the 1990s. This plaza has seen many shops come and go over the years. We hope this brings back memories of when the shopping mall was first opened. Then it was then the turn of years gone by, this time focusing on 1985. As you can see from the pictures folk were taking part in all manner of activities. And finally to round up this busy week, we went back to school again, with a nostalgic look at life in Preston primary schools in the 90s. There are some very cute pictures to be seen here! In the coming weeks we will continue looking at Preston North End in the past - whether it be players, kits or managers. If you have any thoughts of what you would like to see, please let me know. Or if you have ideas of other retro photo galleries you think would be interesting, drop me a line at [email protected] Until next week... Naomi [email protected] | |
