Dear John,
I appreciate the community we have here so much. The last few weeks have had some honest conversations on social media and as we near the end of 2020 and into the swing of the holidays, I want to reach out to you and support you.
The holidays aren't always "jingle all the way" and this can actually be a time of great difficulty. People struggle with religious trauma, difficult family interactions, or financial pressure. Coupled with COVID-19, it's been a really tough year and it feels as if it may get tougher as we get closer to Christmas.

I want to do a few things this holiday season so that you all feel like there is a place where you are heard, seen, and loved. Where you can reach out if you are lonely and need a kind word. Most importantly, I want this community to feel supported if this season is one that is a struggle, for whatever reason. |
