SCREEN TEST: In a surprise announcement, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto III, long a holdout against equipping deputies with body-worn cameras, disclosed Thursday night he has signed an $8.7 million contract for the technology. SHOOTOUT FALLOUT: A man who showed up at a Gretna hospital with a bullet wound shortly after two groundsmen were killed at a New Orleans church is now accused of the killings.
