Yikes. We didn’t even have a chance to recover from the 2022 election before the defeated former president had to remind us of his desperate need for attention. But the threat is real. 

Whether we face Trump, DeSantis, or some other MAGA character in 2024, we know we will beat them if we do our jobs. That’s how we just helped Tina Kotek, Ron Wyden, Christina Stephenson, and dozens of other Democrats win up and down the ballot in Oregon – even in a tough election environment.

Democratic candidates in Oregon know that they can count on the Democratic Party of Oregon to deliver the grassroots support that is critical to win tough races. Our Neighborhood Leader Program is second to none. The data shows it is one of the most effective turnout tools in our toolbox.

All throughout this election cycle, we’ve made sure that thousands of volunteers were talking to voters at their doors and over the phone every day! Those one-on-one conversations, person-to-person, are the only proven way to counter the lies and misinformation that voters see on Fox News and read on social media.

But to be there in 2024, we need to keep the Democratic Party of Oregon running at full capacity now and through 2023.
