Joe Biden has already received more total votes than any presidential candidate in U.S. history. At the same time, Democrats suffered big losses in state legislatures during a crucial year for redistricting. The Trump campaign plans to request a recount in Wisconsin—although recounts rarely affect elections. Election misinformation is spreading, with and without social media’s help.
