A new facility to save lives through organ donation and transplantation

M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center is home to one of the oldest and largest transplant programs in the world, with more than 18,000 organ and stem cell transplants performed over the past 50 years.

Now, in partnership with LifeSource, M Health Fairview
continues to lead the way with the opening of the first of its kind Donor Care Unit in Minnesota. This freestanding unit is
dedicated to providing specialty care for donors, allowing
medical teams to use the most advanced organ recovery
techniques to ensure more organs successfully reach thousands of people currently waiting for a life-saving transplant.
