Hi Achternaam, Have you ever experienced this? You’re busy. It’s the middle of summer, right smack dab in the middle of canning season. Between other commitments, you’re spending the evening canning. You’re tired, sweaty, and, yes, even a little sticky too. ;) But you still need that recipe, so you look it up online using your phone or laptop. You’re skimming the canning recipe, looking for the details you need when suddenly, your screen freezes. What is going on? Ugh. Another darn ad. ERRRR. If you hate experiencing ads like that, I’m right there with you. They can become annoying and intrusive sometimes. As the owner of SimplyCanning.com, while I don’t like ads either, they are a way to pay for my site’s expenses and help support my family as well, using the income generated. When I heard there was a way for me to create an ad-free SimplyCanning…I jumped on it. Bought some materials to help me figure out the tech…and we’re off! It’s an Ad-Free Access Subscription (just $27/year, so just over $2 per month) that will let you browse the website articles and recipes…without any of my ads. And when you purchase, you’ll also get a digital PDF copy of my Canning Book for free!
You can learn more here. I’ve been talking about the access lately, so I’ve gotten a few questions and thought I’d also answer them in this email: Q: Is the eBook the same as the spiral canning guide? A: Yes, the eBook is the same as the physical book (the most recent edition). It is just in a printable format. Q: Can we continue to use the site without ads? A: Absolutely! The site is not changing; the free content will remain (with ads). We're just adding the option to go ad-free for those who would rather not see the ads. :) Q: Will purchasing hurt your site? I want to support you! A: Not at all! But thank you for your concern. :) The cost of the ad-free access still helps support my site in much the same way as the ads. Note: I’m increasing the price once 100 people sign up, so you’ll want to get in early. Purchase ad-free access here. And enjoy the Canning Guide printable too. Have a great weekend, Sharon
