We like to take holidays wherever it’s the most beautiful: on an island, on a beach, in the countryside. With dining, culture, and plenty of entertainment. And sun, of course! So, we’re heading off to Berlin. Because summer’s really just getting going there. Tour the lush green areas that surround the city, enjoy ice cream at your neighbourhood shop, and spend lazy hours on and along the River Spree. Summer? You bet!

The answer: right now in Berlin! The forests and lawns of the capital have the richest green colour right after the rain. The water temperature in the Wannsee is finally ready for swimming. And there’s quite a buzz in and around the IGA garden show between the sunflowers and dahlias. The boats on the River Spree invite you to sunbathe on deck and, of course, there’s nothing better than stopping in a neighbourhood ice cream shop on a warm August day.
