Dear fellow South Carolinians,
As 2019 officially comes to a close, and we embark on a new year (and decade!), I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. I hope your holiday season was filled with laughter, joy and time spent with family and friends.
I also want to thank those who may not have been able to spend the holiday season with their loved ones – our courageous men and women in uniform. Your service to our country is very appreciated and we are thinking of you today!
While we reflect on the past year, may we also look forward to this new one. A new opportunity to learn from one another, work together, and conquer the challenges facing our nation. I am hopeful this will be the best year yet.
I wish you all peace and prosperity in 2020, and I look forward to seeing you all around South Carolina!
