Go Skate Then Donate

Say "Go Skateboarding Day!". Our students in Kabul got creative today to capture the celebrations at Skate School. After the Skate and Createsession they had the chance to have their picture taken in a special frame.

Alongside Go Skateboarding Day, we are asking all those who take part in celebrations to go skate then donate to our Donate Fun campaign. It's the final day to help us raise $50,000 for our Skate Schools and programs worldwide!

No matter who you are or where you are from, skateboarding can bring positivity to your life and has the power to change the world. Skateboarders rule (as quoted from this year's Go Skateboard Day poster). Millions of skaters will celebrate today, as well as all of our Skate Schools, andCitizens of Skateistan worldwide. In honor of the day, we have interviewed some of our staff (and former students) who have used the opportunities skateboarding and Skateistan has provided them to change their futures for good.

Final Day to Donate Fun

Our summer campaign has been focused on the importance of fun in our programs. It is a core value of Skateistan as an organization. Today is the final day of our summer fundraising campaign. At Skateistan, 1,800 children and youth in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and South Africa are empowered through skateboarding and education. We want to provide programs to even more children and youth, which is what this campaign will help us do!
