But first, did you know next Monday is Indigenous Peoples' Day? In celebration of the holiday and the histories and cultures of Native American peoples, we encourage you to explore Native American Experience in the Collections, a digital assemblage of works by Native artists (including the Navajo Dress Panel pictured above) and works portraying Indigenous peoples. And check out "This Land is Whose Land?," a virtual tour by Jacqueline Zoeller '23 contrasting colonial visions of the Western U.S. landscape with the realities lived and portrayed by Native American artists. |
