Job Opportunity: The Division of Academic and Public Programs at the Harvard Art Museums is seeking a dynamic individual with excellent audiovisual skills and strong customer service experience to support programs at Menschel Hall. Menschel Hall hosts a robust series of scholarly lectures, artist talks, roundtables, and film screenings featuring leading voices on art and visual culture. "Visions of the Future" (working tour title)
Cecilia hails from Ottawa, Canada and is broadly interested in the exchange between the literary and visual arts. She particularly enjoys works that deal with temporal and cultural collisions, and her favourite piece in the Harvard Art Museums' collection is Zhan Wang's Sculpture in the Form of a Nine-Hole Scholar's Rock. In her free time, Cecilia enjoys writing for Satire V and performing stand-up comedy.
Paul Tamburro ‘21
Lowell House
"The Art of the Everyday," "Models of Glory," "Unpacking the Amazon Myth"
An avid musician (jazz trombonist) and museum-goer, Paul originally applied to the Ho Family Student Guides because of his lifelong interest in the arts and culture. At Harvard, he has enjoyed the opportunity to explore his academic interests and delve into the field of Archaeology, and he has developed a particular love for Ancient art and artifacts. At the Harvard Art Museums he gives tours on the themes of "The Art of the Everyday" and "Models of Glory" as well as a single object talk on the "Sarcophagus Sections with Men Fighting Amazons."
May Wang ‘20
Adams House
"The World from Within," "Reading the Fine Print"
May Wang is a senior in Adams House studying comparative literature with a secondary in astrophysics. The Museums have been integral part of May's academic and intellectual growth from the very beginning of her time at Harvard: some of her first literature sections/seminars were held in the Art Study Center, which fostered intermedial interactions with art and literature that have profoundly shaped the way she has approached her literary studies since. Elsewhere on campus, May is the senior choir secretary and a Choral Fellow in the University Choir of Memorial Church (among other sundry musical activities, including at HAM!) and edits for the Harvard Political Review.

Harvard’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study cordially invites students and faculty to attend the opening reception for their new exhibition "The Lily League" on Thursday, January 30 at 6pm. The exhibition features contemporary American artist EJ Hill, who recasts the visual language within the American education system to reckon with institutions that are not designed for all. Visit "Photography and Corporate Public Relations: The Case of U.S. Steel, 1930-1960," an exhibition at the Harvard Business School that explores the photographs commissioned to document the inner workings of the steel industry as part of a national public relations campaign. In the current age of converging public relations, marketing, and social media, the United States Steel Corporation Photographs collection at HBS's Baker Library provides a window into the corporation’s innovative use of photography and the emerging field of PR to galvanize public opinion.
