After the Boulder shooting on Monday, and the Atlanta shootings last week, President Joe Biden has had enough. He's called on Congress to pass new gun laws, including two background check bills that have passed the House and a new assault weapons ban.

"If he and congressional Democrats really want to use all the tools the federal government has to bring down the number of people killed with guns each year, unfettering the Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has to be part of the solution," Hayes Brown writes. "Because going after the people who have the guns won't be enough — the people who sell the guns need to follow the laws too," Brown writes.
