Asia faces huge challenges due to its rapidly ageing population, but it also provides vast opportunities for food, beverage and nutrition firms to cater to this burgeoning demographic. | Jorg was trained as a molecular biologist at the University of Bonn with a Ph.D. in molecular genetics. He specialised in the genetics of complex human disease with a specific focus on metabolic and has two post-doctoral periods at the Centre dEtude des polymorphisms humans (CEPH). He was the head of the obesity research group within the metabolic disease unit at the Pasteur Institute in Lille, France and head of Genomics at the newly founded National Genotyping Center (CNG) in Evry, France. Jorg will be presenting on Providing the right food for diverse consumer needs and benefits: Precision nutrition from a product perspective. |

| Being a population health scientist, Woon Puay’s research interest is in studying the epidemiology of chronic diseases of importance to Singapore. She is the Principal Investigator of the Singapore Chinese Health Study, a 63,000-strong cohort of middle-aged and elderly Chinese Singaporeans established for the long-term study of dietary and environmental factors of chronic diseases common among Singaporeans. Her presentation will be focus on Dietary patterns at midlife and cognitive health in late life. |

| Tau Ming’s clinical and research works involve the areas of Dementia, Geriatric Mental Health, and Health Services research and he has published widely, as well as holds ongoing research grants in these areas. He is also the Principal Investigator of Project Pensieve, which is a nationally funded research project to diagnose dementia using Artificial Intelligence. His presentation will be focus on Social media insights: Public perceptions on Healthy Ageing in the past decade. |

Before joining Amway, she had worked at Korea Health Industry Development Institute from 1995 to 2006. Yan Hee will be presenting about Personalisation in Korea and Japan: Current market trends, regulations and opportunities revealed. |
