Organizing Tips (January 04, 2019)
As we are starting the New Year, we have some contest changes to announce. Due to low entries, we have discontinued the Craft Tip and Organizing contests. Entries for these subjects can still be posted to the general Thrifty Tips contest or as one of our step by step Craft or DIY projects. These entries will be much appreciated by the readers of our Craft Projects and Organizing Newsletters. Also, our Gardening Tip and Garden and Nature photo contest have been postponed until spring, as we get historically low entries at the beginning of the year. We hope to reintroduce some of these specific contests in the future and add in bonuses for requested content. As always, ThriftyFun depends on each and every one of you to add your valuable advice to the site. With support, we should continue answering questions and providing Thrifty Tips for many more years. We also will be only sending the Organizing newsletter 3 times a week, as we don't have enough original content to continue filling daily newsletters. Hopefully, we will be able to go back to a daily format soon.

Thanks for reading,
Jess

A camera case stuffed with grocery bags to retain it's shape while stored.I have two carry cases for my new camera. As I use only one, I decided to pack the other, away. I didn't want it to become flattened or misshapen in storage, so I stuffed it. I found those ubiquitous grocery bags to be the ideal stuffing.

Recycle Your Favorite Calendars

By Susan B.

I save my favorite calendars from year to year and store the previous years in boxes. Since some of my favorite artist's calendar works can run from a few dollars to over $20, I pull out the previous years and don't spend any money on them again!
