Hi John, There's a wall in my studio that holds images that keep me inspired: notes from my kids, art from friends, quotes, and sketches for ideas I'm working on. Last week one of my friends shared that one of HER friends has been following my work and enjoying my books for years. (Hi Judy and Chrisy! 👋) Chrisy runs a well-loved Maker Space so I sent her some signed books through my friend. Today I received this AWESOME thank-you card back. Or thank-you BAG... ...and it immediately went up on the inspiration wall! 💫 I love it! A regular thank-you card would have delighted me, but the heart and joy that went into this card took it to another dimension. Simple, creative acts can make such a big impact! Chrisy's hand-painted thank-you didn't just make me smile - it reminded me of why I do what I do. What everyday tasks can we make more artful? Here are some ideas to get us started: A card painted on the side of a grocery bag Dinner served with a swirl of sauce and a sprig of parsley (my FIL is tops at this one!) A Wagon Wheel of cheese and crackers for your after-school snack (Looking at you, Hanker for a Hunk of Cheese 😜) Uplifting post-it's with doodles left on the doors or in books of loved-ones. (Our dorm RAs just did this for all our residents on the first day of classes) Arranging a fruit bowl like a still-life painting How can you add a touch of creativity to your everyday tasks? Give it some thought and let me know what you try out and come up with. Artful interventionist, Rachelle P.S.
