Because of increased demand for the company’s roof window, skylight, tubular daylighting devices and decorative blind products, Velux is expanding its 450 Old Brickyard Road location through several phases over the next few years.

BMW copes with COVID-19 cases but keeps line moving

BMW Manufacturing confirmed that 14 workers at the Spartanburg County plant have COVID-19. While those employees are in quarantine, the company has cleaned and sanitized their work spaces and is keeping the production line moving. More than 11,000 people work at the factory.

Zoning strategy could cost Greenville up to $266 million

As GVL 2040, Greenville’s city zoning strategy for the next 20 years, moves closer to finalization in November, this week’s online open house session highlighted affordable housing, green space preservation and traffic congestion solutions.

McCoy confirmed as U.S. attorney for South Carolina

Peter M. McCoy Jr., a Charleston native, was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. McCoy was initially appointed as the state’s chief federal law enforcement officer in March.
