| | | | JURY GRAND PRIX IMAGES VEVEY 2021/2022 | | The Jury | | GRAND PRIX IMAGES VEVEY 2023/2024 & IMAGES VEVEY BOOK AWARD 2023/2024 | | Vevey International Photography Award | | The winning projects will be announced on May 3, 2023 | | | | The Grand Prix Images Vevey presents the prestigious jury of its 2023/24 edition 880 projects from 65 countries have been submitted to the Grand Prix Images Vevey: the winning projects will be selected by an international jury chaired by British photographer Paul Graham. A pre-jury of 20 international experts drew up a list of 80 final nominees selected from the 880 submissions received from 65 countries: 45 projects have been selected for the Grand Prix Images Vevey, worth CHF 40,000 to produce an original photographic project in one year, while 35 publication projects have been selected for the Images Vevey Book Award, worth CHF 10,000 to produce aphotobook. The final Jury, composed composed of five international personalities from the institutional, artistic, curatorial media and editorial world will meet in Vevey from 27 to 30 April 2023 to examine the shortlisted projects. At the end of these discussions, nearly CHF 70,000 in creative grants and distinctions will be awarded, as well as the possibilityof exhibiting at the next Images Vevey biennial in September 2024. Jury of the Grand Prix Images Vevey 2023/24 | | | | | Paul Graham has played an essential role in challenging the barriers between the worlds of documentary photography and fine art. Recipient of the Hasselblad Award 2012 for his career, Paul Graham has published 21 monographs and 3 survey books. He has also presented solo exhibitions at the most renowned international venues, such as the Museum of Modern Art (New York) and the Venice Biennial. Paul Graham was senior critic for the MFA in Photography at Yale for 16 years. He currently lives in the US and is represented by Pace Gallery and galleries in London and Berlin. |
