Behold! A smorgasbord of London art, culture and compassion awaits Those of you chomping at the bit for a tasty slice of London culture may feel pretty frustrated right now. Although a return to normality isnât on the cards just yet, Our City Together is here to celebrate some of the City's biggest and best-loved cultural powerhouses, and bring the joy of London back into your life. This brand new project, starting Monday 18 May, sees institutions like Barbican, Bishopsgate Institute and Museum of London collaborate for an action-packed online programme of art, music, film, history, photography and more. Darn right it's going to give you that much-needed culture fix. But more than that, Our City Together is about delving into our unique heritage to help bring Londoners together and share experiences during this challenging time. All events have been carefully selected to support your wellbeing at home, and the programme kicks off this week with a Kindness theme to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week. Thereâs masses going on (seriously, your empty diary isnât going to know whatâs hit it), so make sure to subscribe to the newsletter, follow #OurCityTogether online and check out the website. In the meantime, we've picked out a few of our personal highlights to whet your art-hungry appetite. |
