CIO News In the final days of 2019, a number of technology leaders in state and local government quietly moved on from their posts. To start, Minnesota is in the market for a new chief information security officer due to the departure of Aaron Call. Call spent two years as CISO, and has been replaced in an interim capacity by Rohit Tandon. Two pieces of staffing news came out of Indiana in late December, with Chief Data Officer Darshan Shah leaving the post he held since early 2017. Interim Chief Data Officer Josh Martin will take over leadership of the state’s Management Performance Hub for now. The state has also decided who will helm the larger IT agency, also in an interim capacity. Robert Paglia, the Office of Technology’s chief administrative officer, will fill the role of chief information officer until a permanent replacement is named for CIO Dewand Neely.
