Microsoft has bee slammed for holding back XP patches for Wannacry, thus putting users at risk. Some of Microsoft’s customers have been charged $1000 per year per device for XP patches, with charges escalating so much the NHS in the UK abandoned support after just one year.

The Tasmanian Government says 50 new IT jobs have been secured for the state as part of an industry assistance package of up to $1.36 million for a term of five years for DXC Technology to expand its enterprise delivery centre in Hobart.
