View email online | | | | | | | | | Feb 5, 2021 | | | | | | | | Good evening While we may not know all the details, at least we can start to see the beginnings of a roadmap which will lead us all out of lockdown. Schools will soon start to re-open, solo and team sports should be back in a month (fingers crossed) and retail businesses will open their doors again. Life for those who work in the hospitality sector is not quite as straightforward. And given that our pubs, restaurants and hotels have been hardest hit by the pandemic, that is hard to take, albeit understandable. Today we report on testing for the new variant of Covid-19 which has been found in Preston and the need for everyone with minor symptoms to get tested as soon as possible. We all know that there are people walking around with mild or no symptoms of this virus, who are spreading it without even realising it. So, if you have any doubts at all, get tested as soon as possible and isolate in the meantime. You might be saving a life - as well as helping us all to get out of lockdown and back into our pubs and restaurants that little bit quicker.
