Now 90, the oil industry scion and classical music composer has decided to part ways with the opulent villa, asking $5 million for the flamboyant oasis of serene opulence that is fronted by deep portico lined with sixteen fluted Corinthian columns. And, half-way around the world, on the Spanish Island of Ibiza, known for its rugged beaches and raucous nightlife, a 500-year-old finca that underwent a pared-down minimalist transformation by Paris-based architect Pascal Cheikh Djavadi sits outside the hullabaloo, offering rural solitude at a price of almost $12 million.
