At the risk of getting booed out of here, count me as one of what I assume are many people who usually don't think about HTTP vs. HTTPs while using the internet. And I know, it's a pretty big deal. I'm sorry! Fortunately for the security folks out there, Google Chrome will now try to connect to new pages automatically using HTTPS by default. One less thing for you to worry about, right? Again, I'm so sorry. While journalists across the web seem to agree that this is an important update, I'm sure this isn't the only common security issue that keeps you up at night. How else should laypeople like me use (or not) use the technologies at our fingertips? Let us know in this SaaSOps Community thread. |

Dell has had an 81% equity ownership of VMware since its 2016, $67 billion purchase of EMC, which owned VMware. | How-To Geek | By default, when you use the Search feature in Finder, it has the eerie habit of searching your entire Mac instead of only searching the current folder. Thankfully, you can make Finder always search the current folder by changing a setting on your Mac. | MakeUseOf | Microsoft Forms is a great way to collect responses for your surveys, quizzes, and more. You basically share the URL of your form with others and others can then input their responses. The service now lets you shorten these URLs so it's easier for everyone to remember and share these links. | OnMSFT | Microsoft Teams is a great collaboration and communication tool on Windows 10. However, sometimes you may find the need to block someone on Microsoft Teams. If you run into an issue where a certain user becomes a problem whether through bullying, stalking, or other harassment (i.e. spam), you can block someone in Microsoft Teams. |
