The laws take effect hours after at least 7 people were killed in a mass shooting in Midland/Odessa in West Texas and weeks after nearly two dozen were killed in a mass shooting in El Paso. Seven people were killed and 22 others were wounded when 36-year-old Seth Ator began randomly spraying the roads with bullets after getting pulled over for failing to use his signal, police said. Heres a list of SA's Labor Day city closures The city of San Antonio has announced its Labor Day schedule of city services. City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2 but public safety and emergency services will remain open. Record-setting Hurricane Dorian keeps pounding north Bahamas In a slow, relentless advance, a catastrophic Hurricane Dorian kept pounding at the northern Bahamas early Monday, as one of the strongest Atlantic storms ever recorded left wrecked homes, shredded roofs, tumbled cars and toppled power poles in its wake.
