The laws take effect hours after at least 7 people were killed in a mass shooting in Midland/Odessa in West Texas and weeks after nearly two dozen were killed in a mass shooting in El Paso. Grandparents get in free at the DoSeum in September Sept. 8 is Grandparents Day, and the DoSeum is celebrating all month long by offering free admission for grandparents during the month of September. Seven people were killed and 22 others were wounded when 36-year-old Seth Ator began randomly spraying the roads with bullets after getting pulled over for failing to use his signal, police said.
