Good morning and TGIF! We hope you have a great weekend. The fast approach of Christmas is getting more real as Leslie’s recent college graduate makes her way home from L.A. this morning. My undergrad has been home since Tuesday. No matter their age, it’s always delightful having our kids home. We begin our holiday schedules next week. Leslie is off after Monday and my holiday begins after our newscasts on Christmas Eve. If you’re headed out for the holidays this weekend, be safe, be merry and we’ll see you in 2020. The Robbery Task Force Unit identified Nathaniel Talley, 23, as a suspect in the robberies, which happened between Dec. 10 and Dec. 11, after receiving tips from the public and reviewing surveillance video. Talley was located at his apartment on the Northwest Side of San Antonio. Police said when they attempted to make an arrest, he fled on foot. Showers in the forecast to end the week Cold air has been the focus of the weather forecast so far this week. In fact, San Antonio saw its coldest temperature of 2019 on Thursday morning with a low of 27 degrees! However, the forecast focus now shifts from temperatures to chances of rain. A low pressure system will move across Texas beginning early Friday, moving out of the Lone Star State early Saturday. By rush hour Friday morning, mist and drizzle will be likely. Isolated showers will also be moving in from the southwest. Soldiers depart SA for annual holiday leave Thousands of members of the military serving in San Antonio have begun heading home for the holidays. The mass exodus started early Friday at the San Antonio International Airport. The holiday leave will allow the local soldiers, who are stationed at Joint Base San Antonio, the opportunity to spend the holiday season with their families and loved ones. Mills had 21 points in the second half, shooting 5 for 8 on 3-pointers as the Spurs rallied from a 14-point deficit to beat the Nets for the 17th straight home game.
