Good morning from the GMSA anchor desk. Once again I have the pleasure of anchoring with Max Massey -- in for vacationing Mark Austin. We truly love our jobs here at KSAT, and appreciate the fact that our viewers chose us to wake up to every morning. We are so grateful and honored to be trusted to get you going with news, traffic updates, your forecast and hopefully put a smile on your face in the process. While we love to cut up and have fun, some days in the news business are really tough. This is one of those days. While we prefer to bring our viewers happiness and smiles, we can’t avoid the tragic stories out of El Paso and Dayton. We will keep you updated on those horrible mass shootings, but also look for the positive stories that come out it as well. There are stories of local service dogs sent to El Paso to help first responders, communities uniting, and people helping people. In the midst of hateful acts we always see kindness rise above it. It’s a reminder that we are all connected. So this morning while we grieve for the victims, we also celebrate the strength and determination of those communities to move forward. We will have the bad news on GMSA, but we will also try to make you smile! Have a fabulous day. - Leslie and Max Here's what's on Good Morning San Antonio for Monday, August 5: CLICK HERE TO WATCH LIVEWhat's TrendingEl Paso shooter charged with capital murder Federal authorities are treating the shooting in El Paso as a case of domestic terrorism, the US Attorney for the Western District of Texas said, as it seems to fit the statutory domestic terrorism definition.
