Good morning and welcome to your Monday morning! Leslie spent a whirlwind weekend celebrating a dear friend's daughter's birthday in Kansas. She said it was nice and cool up in the nation's heartland. I spent the weekend trying to get out in front of a cross town move set for this Friday. I think I'm in pretty good shape, taking stuff over in small loads, and should only have furniture and appliances left for the movers to handle. I also took time to watch some football on Sunday. The hearing over whether to grant a temporary injunction began last Wednesday and might last into the week. Salazar email to deputies: DWI issue 'again reared its ugly head' Hours after an off-duty Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, Sheriff Javier Salazar sent an agencywide email stating that the DWI issue had "again reared its ugly head." The email, sent to the rank and file following the arrest of Deputy Ricardo Maldonado, said alcohol-related arrests were down but that there remained work to do.
