There’s a reason it was deemed hump day, we’ve gotta get over the hump and the next thing you know the weekend will be here. An image attached to the tweet listed 44 names and the individual’s employer, which is public record and accessible online. Federal law allows individuals to donate up to $2,800 per election to a candidate, but some people on the list also donated to Trump's PAC. See giant octopus when San Antonio's new aquarium opens this fall SEA LIFE Aquarium is one step closer to opening with the delivery of 155,000 gallons of water. More than 155,000 gallons of fresh water will be poured into the aquarium's enormous ocean tank over the course of three days, according to a news release. Aquarium staff will add 18,000 pounds of salt to the tank after it's filled, creating a sustainable habitat for the more than 2,000 fish and underwater sea creatures that will call the aquarium home. Fideo Loco Festival to return to San Antonio this fall We may be in the thick of summer and dealing with hot temperatures, but it's OK to start daydreaming about the fall and some fideo. The Fideo Loco Festival will return this year at Alamo Beer Company. It will take place on Nov. 2, and tickets go on sale on Aug. 12. Ticket prices range from $15 to $30 and include samples of fideo and the opportunity to vote for your favorite fideo dish. Today's Headlines Memo: BCSO to send some deputies home instead of paying them overtime The Bexar County Sheriff's Office will soon begin forcing deputies to take time off in an effort to avoid paying them overtime, a memo obtained by the Defenders shows. Beginning in September, deputies will be selected at random to take a week of paid time off, the memo states. This comes a month-and-a-half before the start of a new fiscal year. San Antonio archbishop 'regrets' tweets that were focused on president, not issues Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller released a statement Tuesday evening apologizing for singling out President Donald Trump, but remaining steadfast that racism and violence must be rooted out of society. Hours before the statement, the archbishop had deleted the tweets that directly referenced the president. The string of messages were posted two days after the killing of 22 people in an El Paso Walmart by a racist gunman who targeted Hispanics. Bicyclist hospitalized after hit-and-run crash downtown, police say A bicyclist is in the hospital in serious condition after being hit by a car overnight, San Antonio police said. The crash occurred just after 1 a.m. near East Houston Street and North Presa Street downtown.
