Glitch leaves American Airlines stranded for pilots

A scheduling error has left more than 15,000 American Airlines flights without pilots around Christmas, the Allied Pilots Association says. The airline is offering pilots 1.5 times normal hourly pay to work, but the union says the airline is violating its labor pact and is not properly incentivizing working on Christmas.
