I love the spicy and sweet flavours of gingerbread. Here, I've incorporated them into a luscious cupcake recipe that I used for a holiday party. I was lucky to find gingerbread man shaped marshmallows at a seasonal sale for 99 cents. They did a good job of representing the flavours when they were set at the dessert table. :)

I decided to make gift baskets with items I got from Freecycle or elsewhere for free. The larger gift has a dish as the base, which will be a keepsake for the hostess. The smaller ones have six cookies and a travel sized bottle of shower gel from Bath and Body Works.

All the garland I found was too flashy for me. The only place I had to hang it was along a shelf made from a bi-fold door. So again, it would have blocked the TV. So I came up with this. I made a garland of red, blue, and green paperclips. As you can see, it worked great.
