It's hard to figure out just what the Giants plan is. They traded their best player after signing him to a huge deal just a year earlier. Are they rebuilding? Are they reloading? They're in limbo, floating in NFL purgatory, and they got there on their own accord and by their own decision-making. Eli Manning is the quarterback of the past, but he's also the quarterback of the present and, apparently, the quarterback of the future. Ryan Wilson, John Breech and Sean Wagner-McGough join me to try and make sense of Big Blue.
Maybe the Ravens were just waiting for the official start of the new league year, which began on Wednesday. After a rough start to free agency that saw their defense plundered, the Ravens had a nice rebound in the secondary market on Wednesday. It's the best place to bounce back because the deals are better, including Baltimore's contract for Mark Ingram, a reported three-year deal worth $15 million, which is a really nice bargain for Baltimore relative to the other running backs that signed this offseason. Find out who else Baltimore picked up and which other teams were winners on Wednesday.
The kind of aggressiveness Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have displayed this offseason in springing for Antonio Brown, Trent Brown, Tyrell Williams, and LaMarcus Joyner makes Jared Dubin think they're not going to be content to just go with Derek Carr at QB. Dubin thinks Gruden and company have one more big move in them and will go all in on Kyler Murray.
