Republican Greg Gianforte—moments after winning Montana’s special election—apologized to Ben Jacobs, the reporter he allegedly assaulted on election eve, and the Fox News team that witnessed the encounter. He said, “I should not have treated the reporter that way, and for that I am sorry.”
