It’s Not Late-Stage Capitalism. It’s Late-Stage Fiat By Logan Bolinger The problem with our society is not capitalism — the problem is that we have not been living under a genuine capitalist system since 1971. For capitalism to work properly, the monetary policy and the currency of reference must have intrinsic value and not be imposed by a centralized authority. It must be scarce, verifiable, fungible, unalterable, immune to manipulation, censorship resistant and unstoppable and since 1971, the U.S. dollar has just become a piece of paper. Capitalism is not in its late-stage — but the fiat system is. Bitcoin is here to make sure of that. The ability to print money at will, the ability to wage war entirely on credit, the ability to coerce others by restricting them from the monetary system and many other anti-capitalist actions and exploits will be over soon. |
