Welcome to new Corporate Citizenship CEO, Neil Davy

We are pleased to announce Neil Davy to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Neil joins from Tomorrow’s Company, a think tank specialising in responsible and sustainable business. Prior to this, Neil consulted with business, government and civil society organisations on cross-sector partnerships and inclusive business models, and also spent 15 years in global roles in WPP, Dentsu Aegis and Omnicom operating companies based in the UK and in Asia. Supporting Gender Diversity in the Workplace

Corporate Citizenship recently hosted a webinar to discuss how companies can support gender diversity in the workplace and across their value chains. With less than 4 weeks until the Gender Pay Gap reporting deadline for UK companies, our research found only 7% had submitted their data. Joined by Jan Bibby, Vodafone’s Head of Organisational Effectiveness for AMAP Region, we explored the value of having gender diverse teams, risks of inaction and the practical steps companies can take to become responsible employers.

IR meets CR: Do Investors Care About Sustainability?

Last month, Corporate Citizenship held its largest conference to date. Kindly hosted by Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and in partnership with the Investor Relations Society, we welcomed over 140 IR and CR professionals to discuss and debate the barriers to closer alignment as part of our Long-Term Value Project.

What do the G20's TCFD recommendations mean for company reporting in the UK?

From 2018 onwards, investors will expect companies across all industries to make increasingly detailed disclosures on climate risk. These new recommendations from the G20 Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) are already being integrated into widely used disclosure frameworks - including this year’s 2018 CDP and DJSI questionnaires.

In partnership with CDSB (Climate Disclosure Standards Board), Corporate Citizenship will be hosting a workshop to provide an overview of how UK companies can report on climate-related risks and opportunities using the TCFD recommendations, with some practical suggestions for integrating climate and financial information into your annual report.
