Good morning, Hubsters. MK Flynn here with the Wire.

I’m back from London, where I spent most of last week with PEI Group editorial colleagues from all over the world. We gathered to explore important advances like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Journalism and to brainstorm ways to leverage them at PE Hub and all our titles. We had some fascinating discussions, and I look forward to bringing you the fruits of our talks in the coming months.

In the meantime, today on the Hub, we’re exploring the potential for Generative AI in healthcare. We’ve got an interview with Eric Berger, a member of Bain & Co’s healthcare and life sciences team, on the topic.

We’ve also got some returns info on a big exit that KPS announced this morning.

And as it’s the last week in June, we’re highlighting our interviews with PE pros in the LGBTQ+ community in observance of Pride Month.

Generative AI represents a “once-in-a-generation kind of technology shift” of potential impacts on patient care through the blending of voice, video, text, equipment and robotics, Eric Berger, a member of Bain & Co’s healthcare and life sciences team, told PE Hub healthcare reporter John R Fischer.
