The slowing US economy may be encouraging employees to stick with their current employer, according to Gartner's Global Talent Monitor report. Data from the second quarter of 2019 shows that 53% of workers plan to stay with their employer -- a 10% jump over the first quarter -- and more than 21% report a willingness to do discretionary work.
