On October 4, all proceeds from Angry Birds 2 in-app purchases in the UK will go to SpecialEffect a charity who helps physically disabled gamers experience the joy that gaming offers.

SpecialEffect has been working since 2007 to provide assistive technology to physically disabled gamers. They have helped develop the Xbox Accessible Controller, and the Sony Access Controller, as well as providing game developers guidance on creating accessible games through their accessibility Dev Kit.
