Bill Hooser, who was killed in the line of duty a little over a week ago, will be held today in Orem at Utah Valley University. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m at the UCCU Event Center. Doors will open to the public at 8 a.m. Gov. Spencer Cox is expected to speak at the services. Other speakers will include Hooser's daughter, his niece, Santaquin's police chief and the mayor. | News Releases Utah consumer sentiment falls slightly in April Utahâs consumer sentiment decreased by 2.2% in April (from 78.0 in March to 76.3), according to the Kem C. Gardner Policy Instituteâs Survey of Utah Consumer Sentiment. A similar survey by the University of Michigan found that sentiment decreased by 2.8% among Americans as a whole during the same time (from 79.4 to 77.2).
