| Your guide to a great August in London
Looking for fun London-y things to fill up your diary this month? From intriguing exhibitions to raucous carnivals, to festivals celebrating craft beer, opera and dessert, our August events guide is absolutely chocka with recommendations for all ages.
A few of the capital's best-loved annual events are taking place this month, including the London Triathlon and the iconic Notting Hill Carnival — taking over west London for the first time since 2019. There's also the rest of the BBC Proms to look forward to, plus a whole host of music festivals including All Points East and Nashville Meets London.
Alter something a bit more off-beat? You could watch a medieval joust, discover a rainbow island made of foam, or take on a very messy obstacle course. Hit the blue button for the low-down on all of these events and many more.
