The world is undergoing a profound transformation. In addition to the personal challenges that every individual inevitably faces in the course of their life, we are faced with increasing collective challenges: social, economic and political upheavals, natural disasters, global unrest, and warfare between nations. Furthermore, the new technology brings not only unprecedented possibilities, but also grave dangers for the human psyche, such as a lowering of consciousness and loss of creative power due to digital addiction. Yet, within these challenging times, there also lies the opportunity for a radical shift in consciousness. Adversity is a great awakener. This cycle—falling back into egoic unconsciousness and then waking up again—is common. But gradually, something changes and a new opportunity arises. Awareness begins to predominate over thought. Instead of being consumed by thoughts and emotions, you become aware of them. This is how it feels when we shift and we can learn to live from the new state of consciousness. When we are able to do that, it transforms the experience of our inner world and every aspect of our lives. |
