Pasta Primavera

Pasture Pride Juusto™ Traditional Baked Cheese exhibits Wisconsin pride and Finnish tradition with its savory, buttery, toasty flavor amplified by notes of grilled cheese and toasted pecans. It won Best of Class at the 2024 World Championship Cheese Contest. Also called bread cheese, Juustoleipa (hoo-stah-lee-pah) has a signature toasted "crust" and is best warmed in a dry skillet to soften beautifully. Enjoy it with coffee, top it with jam or maple syrup, turn it into cheesy salad “croutons,” or add it to your favorite grilled dish.

Meet the Maker: Anna Landmark

Cheesemaker Anna Landmark, owner of Landmark Creamery, believes there’s magic in milk. “We wanted to use really special milk—something that would make our cheese shine,” shares Anna. "It’s always a beautiful color and unique from batch to batch.” Anna uses pasture-grazed milk to craft one of her signature creations, Tallgrass Reserve. It's a cave-aged cheese with an earthy natural rind, creamy texture, buttery and dynamic flavors, including bright notes of fresh grass in spring. “I love the mix of the science and artistry behind cheesemaking,” says Anna. “I like guiding the milk through all the steps.”
