I love cold fresh crab meat salad in a toasted roll or on a bed of lettuce. The cost of fresh crab is so expensive. I found a brand of imitation crab that is "terrific"! It has some crab in it, and is very inexpensive.

This was a quick solution when I had family at the last minute for dinner. My in-laws favorite dessert is apple pie, so I made these muffin tin personal pies. This took me about 1 1/4 hours from prep to finish. I made the crust and filling from scratch. You could use pre-made crust and filling to cut the time by more than half.

Today I did not have enough crab apple juice to make the jelly I wanted, so I took blackberries, squeezed them with my hands to get the juice and combined the two to get the proper amount required.
