Several more inches of snow expected tonight into Tuesday morning. The one-two punch of winter weather continues through tomorrow morning. Southeastern Minnesota and parts of the Twin Cities metro area will see additional 4-6 inches of snow by the time the storm’s over. Get the latest weather updates on our Updraft blog

A trained man fatally shot a gunman at a Texas church, saving over 200 people. Jack Wilson, who trained others in his church to use guns to protect the congregation, fired a single shot, quickly ending the attack that killed two people in the Fort Worth-area town of White Settlement. “Evil exists, and I had to take out an active shooter in church,” he wrote on his Facebook following the incident. 

President Trump shared name of alleged whistleblower on his Twitter account. Trump retweeted a post to his 68 million followers that had a name linked to the alleged whistleblower. It is not expressly illegal for the president to unmask the name of the whistleblower. There are, however, federal protections that prevent retaliation against whistleblowers. 

Tracing your family's roots may soon get a lot more expensive. Access to some genealogical records kept by the U.S. government may get a lot more expensive, especially for those seeking family records for immigrants from the late 1800s to mid-1900s.
