Bitcoin Is Freedom From The Fiat System’s Walled Garden

Have you ever found yourself struggling to reduce your time using Instagram, Facebook or other social media? What about trying to connect your iPhone to your Unix machine? Anyone changing from an iPhone to an Android has learned about self-created restraints and know the struggle. 

That's because tech companies are very good at creating walled wardens, a “safe” environment where you can feel comfortable and never want to leave. But if you get too comfortable and would ever wish to leave, you’d realize that, in reality, the walled warden was a prison all along. 

Regardless, the most successful walled garden ever created is in fact the fiat system. Central banks issue money and the government insists this money be accepted. The difference is that outside the walls of the fiat garden of governments and their central banks there are armed soldiers prepared to do anything to keep you inside. 

Bitcoin is the ultimate garden in which no walls exist — Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom.

Humans are social animals. It doesn't matter how much you consider yourself an introvert or a hermit, you still have at least a few relationships that matter. It is evolutionary, it is necessary and it is inevitable. We need to interact with others to prosper and grow as individuals.

Transactions are just another form of communication and money is the most used tool to interact with others. Hence, it can be said that money is the instrument that cements most human relationships. If the money doesn’t work and is rotten, most human relationships will also be.

Thanks to our debased monetary system, most of our relationships have also been debased. Working relationships, friendships and even family relations are entered into with a very short-term focus. Worthless money that devalues constantly and has to be spent quickly forces us to think for the short term. If you're not in a relationship for the long term, why not burn bridges for your own benefit?

What Can You Do For Bitcoin?

Like many people on Bitcoin Twitter, we like to say that Bitcoin is inevitable. But, is it really? How true is that statement? 

It is true that Bitcoin is extremely likely to win based on certain qualities in comparison to the current world’s monetary policy. It is scarce, neutral, fair, incorruptible and better in practically every way compared to the monopoly game we have been forced to live in since the world’s reserve currency became a worthless piece of paper.

But the truth is that Bitcoin will always be reliant on real people who do the things that sustain the system: Miners securing the system, developers giving maintenance and reviewing code, users and HODLers giving it value, etc.

But what's more, now more than ever, Bitcoin needs soldiers and ambassadors spreading word of the freedom that Bitcoin could bring to humanity. We are still very early, but the faster hyperbitconization happens, the faster the world will be better.
