We all love making jewelry, but sometimes it’s fun to work on something else. For June, let’s build objects with our jewelry supplies. Boxes, vessels, and urns can contain secrets, memories, or special trinkets. Talismans and amulets offer protection, and sculpture or dolls can bring whimsy and joy! Submit any non-jewelry items or accessories: any of the above, or maybe purses, shoes, or wall hangings. Make them from metal, wire, found objects, or use your skill at increasing and decreasing your beadwork. As long as your object has meaning and incorporates materials that you would normally use in your jewelry, it qualifies! Move your work into a third dimension → |
