~Jules Champfleury We run an old-age home for cats. Some cats had elderly owners who had passed away, and they were going to be euthanized because the family didn’t want them. Sometimes, we would get word of a cat that had been in a shelter for years and wasn’t going to be adopted. We have quite a few cats, but our home is roomy and comfortable, so we don’t mind. We also built an enclosed sun deck on the windowsill so they’re able to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine without going outside where they might encounter danger. Even though we have tons of cat toys and cat trees, our elderly friends prefer to sleep most of the time. Some suffer from depression because they have been separated from their longtime owners or were abandoned. They all have different stories and personalities. (Keep reading) |
