The FBI and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the cyber branch of the Department of Homeland Security, issued a statement Wednesday saying that Beijing is sponsoring widespread cyberattacks intended to steal vaccine research.
The CIA reportedly believes China tried to stop the World Health Organization from sounding the alarm to other countries about the coronavirus outbreak in January as it worked to stockpile medical supplies from around the world, including the United States.
