Najat Al Saied is a columnist in Al-Ittihad (a UAE newspaper) and Al-Hurra (an American television channel). She is the author of Screens of Influence: Arab Satellite Television and Social Development (2015) and Gulf Tweets: Twitter Diplomacy and Media Polarization (forthcoming). She holds two master’s degrees from the American University and a Ph.D. from the University of Westminster.
