Amit Barak is the co-founder of the Jerusalemites’ Initiative, an NGO promoting ties between Jews and Arabic-speaking Christians in Israel. With a B.A. from the Open University and an M.A. the Hebrew University, Barak is himself an IDF reservist.

Sonar Cagaptay, director of the Washington Institute for Near Eastern Policy’s Turkish Research Program, is the author of Erdoğan’s Empire (I.B. Tauris, 2019). A historian, he has a B.A. from Marmara University, M.A.s from Bilkent and the Central European University, and a Ph.D. from Yale. Mr. Cagaptay is also a certified yoga instructor.
